In the summer of 2001 Erik met his friend Sammy Reyes, a local Philadelphian chorographer.  Soon discovering after meeting that he and Sammy had incredible synergy, they collaborated on projects the likes of which Philadelphia has never seen before. Erik’s musical precision together with Sammy’s legendary chorography fused to form the celebrated arrangement “All for Not,” a rousing six minute medley preformed at Philadelphia’s noted Kimmel Center.

In 2002 Sammy introduced Erik to his friend Jenn Oldfield, another choreographer who owned one of the areas largest and most successful dance studios. That summer Erik became the Technical Director of her 800 plus student school overseeing her five recitals and three Nutcracker performances. Erik also collaborated with Jenn on her FanTAPulous number performed annually in Philadelphia’s Channel 6 Boscov’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Through Jenn, Erik met Todd Marcocci, owner and creative director of Under the Sun Productions.  Todd’s company produces the most fantastic parades and events on the east coast. Together with Todd, Erik was afforded the opportunity to create some of the most highly publicized creations in his career. These included the soundtracks for the Hershey Centennial Parade finale, the Whitemarsh 300 birthday Firework Spectacular, and recently, Philadelphia’s annual 4th of July and New Year’s Eve fireworks.  In 2009 he designed the soundtrack for the inauguration of PECO’s new LED light Crown Lights display.

Erik has compiled countless award winning music edits for dance and color guard. He’s engineered sound for local theater as well as large events and charities. He continues to work diligently with the area’s most elite talent and proud to be one of the most diverse audio production companies around.
